I grew up in Clarion, PA and attended high school at Clarion-Limestone. Upon graduation, I continued my education at Clarion University where I majored in Secondary Education with a focus on Earth and Space Science. I graduated in 2002 and began my teaching career as a substitute teacher. My first year of teaching was spent teaching Physics at Mercer High School and Biology at A-C Valley High School. After spending one more year as a substitute teacher, I was lucky enough to get a full time teaching job here in Coudersport in 2004. Since coming here I have taught a variety of science classes, but my main area has always been middle school science.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children, gardening, watching Notre Dame football, and reading.
